Baobab Forest House

The Baobab Forest compound is located by the sea within walking distance from Shimoni town center. The nostalgic villa features an outdoor swimming pool, free Wi-Fi and a large garden.
Only 700 meters from the departure point for diving and snorkeling excursions.
Shimoni is a cozy little fishing village where the tourist madness has not yet arrived.
The villa is spacious and revives old times. It has a beautiful view over the mangroves and the ocean from within and around the villa.
The house is surrounded by a large garden dominated by eight huge Baobab trees and an arboretum of many indigenous trees, shrubs and fruit trees.
On the sea side there is a mangrove forest where you can walk at low tide.
This location is an excellent base for dolphin watching, diving and snorkeling excursions to Kisite Marine Park and community managed marine parks. The dive spots in the area are countless and have incredible biodiversity with sea horses, turtles, frog fishes and many other amazing sea creatures.

The four double rooms in the villa each have a good bed and a private bathroom.
The two most spacious rooms and the living room have a fantastic sea view and for sunsets can be viewed from the pool side.

The kitchen is not available for guests to use, but kitchen chef Wycliff and his assistant Veronica will serve your drinks, breakfast, lunch and delicious dinner every day which is all inclusive. Jacob is your host and assists you with any needs you may have for organizing transfers, activities and safaris to suit your needs. The friendly staff Veronica, Omari and Taura will give you a warm welcome and will be at your service to make your stay unforgettable.
